It's so much fun picking on bad movies. Reminds me of the two old guys in the muppet show, they'll rip anything apart. I think that creating a movie is such an complex endeavour that most directors are just not up to the intellectual task of creating a sustainable believable environment of that dimensionality and magnitude. What happens is that their own shortcomings shine through their cinematographic choices, often embarrassingly. I distinctly remember thinking many times: what kind of moron came up with this crap!
